Grand Opening Celebration
The Seaside Museum is delighted to announce the reopening of its newly refurbished Children’s Area, following a successful makeover supported by funding from Museums Development South East.
The transformation has created a cosy and welcoming space designed especially for young visitors, where children can play, read, dress up and enjoy imaginative role play. The refreshed area features a beautifully designed and painted backdrop by Liga from Saxon Architects, with bespoke carpentry completed by Steve Buchan.
To celebrate the reopening, the Seaside Museum will host a Grand Opening of the Children’s Area on Saturday 14 February. The museum will be open from 11am to 3pm, and entry will be FREE.
The event will feature four storytelling sessions delivered by Wizard Stories, taking place at 9.30am, 11am, 1pm and 2.15pm. The 9.30am session will be SEN-friendly, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming experience for all families.
Families are invited to book their place for the Wizard Stories sessions by contacting wizardstories@mac.com or calling 07710 474960.
The Seaside Museum looks forward to welcoming visitors to experience the newly transformed Children’s Area and celebrate this exciting new chapter.
